Un-sealed 100 micron (400 gauge) polythene bags, are a great solution for bagging heavy or edged/pointed items.
The thick polythene provides better strength to retain heavy items such as screws & nails, whilst resisting tears better.
They can be permanently sealed with a heat sealer, or just tied temporarily.
